"EVERY SUCCESSFUL PROJECT STARTS WITH A PERFECT PLAN"
Are you considering a major renovation project or adding an addition and are not sure where to begin? If so, you have come to the right place. Hello, and welcome to the site.James Intinarelli, Residential Designer, and owner of James Carlo Design, has for 20-years, been providing both homeowners and contractors with quality residential design and blueprint services for:
2nd Floor Expansions
Basement & Attic Build Outs
Bathroom & Master Bathroom Remodeling
Master Bedroom Suites Over Existing Garages
Decks & Screened Porches
Farmers Porches & Porticos
Cabanas & Outbuildings
It’s simple. Over the past 20-years, most every homeowner James has met, many whom have eventually worked with James, have expressed the same concern. They cannot visualize what their project will look like when it is completed. Our end goal is to work closely with each homeowner through the design process to bring their project to life in turn giving the homeowner the ability to fully understand the scope of work and enabling them to properly plan for their project.
The steps to planning a new residential renovation project requires detailed planning and that planning requires a full set of construction blueprints for contractor bidding, permitting and construction. Project planning can be considered a 3 Phase process.
Phase 1. Setting up the initial site visit between the designer and homeowner to access the current homes layout & style, space availability, property restrictions & most importantly, the homeowner’s direct needs and their available budget.
Phase 2. Hiring a Residential Designer or Architect who will understand the vision the homeowner is conveying, bringing their vision to life, pre- construction, through accurate floor plans and interior and/or exterior full color, 3-Dimensional full renderings of the finished project.
Phase 3. Distribution of construction plans to a minimum of 3 qualified, reputable contractors, receiving bids and finally selecting a contractor for construction.
We hope you will please take a moment to continue through this site to see some past projects and receive some further information. We look forward to possibly working on our most important project to date. Your project!
